UPDATE:Court of Appeals Overturns Injunction Over Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reporting

On Monday December 23, 2024, the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the nationwide injunction over the Corporate Transparency Act that was issued on December 3.

As a result, the enforcement of the CTA's Reporting Rule has been reinstated.

Specifically, the Appellate Court's decision means that businesses are now required to comply with a January 13, 2025, reporting deadline.
